The Palm Beach Uniform
I could go on and on about why I love where I live, but I'll spare you the cheesy bits and get down to business. One of the most ideal aspects is the ability to wear white jeans year-round, shamelessly. In fact, I have no reserves in wearing this entire outfit all year-round here. This look is super easy and perfect for Spring/Summer for those of you not as lucky to live in sunny South Florida.
The Shirt: I love traditional Mexican blouses. Although this is definitely not a traditional Mexican blouse, something about it reminds me of the bright embroidery and overall style. I feel like you definitely need a nice pop of color to achieve this look- if not embroidery, throw in a fun necklace.
The Jeans: These are my all-time favorite white jeans. The finish is "sateen", and it definitely feels like it. These pants are buttery and worth the price. Easy to dress up or down and have a lovely crop to them. Of course, I have to roll the bottom still since I'm very short... and lazy. My mother, sister and I have all fallen victim to these jeans.
The Shoes: Along with white jeans, I live in espadrilles. Besides my countless pairs of Soludos and several other variations on the style, I also have a serious love for espadrille wedges. I've had these Valentino's for about two years now and they are undoubtedly my favorite. Make sure you pick up a pair with a bit of a platform to ensure comfort. If you don't have a pair already, make sure to add some kind of variation to your wardrobe.
